What a lovely little cafe in Tynemouth - why don't we have more places like this in Newcastle? There's so much attention to detail in the decor. All of the sweets look absolutely amazing, but I just had lunch and tea. I had a Thai Chicken Salad for £7 and a pot of peppermint tea for £2, and both came out very quickly! The salad was full of vegetables, and the chicken was marinated in a very flavorful dressing. The meal was fresh and light, and really hit the spot after a long walk. My friend also really enjoyed her Indian chicken wrap thing, which was huge! Much bigger portion than mine and it looked delicious. I'd come back anytime I'm in town, everyone's food looked gorgeous coming out of the kitchen, with lots of fresh produce and vibrant colors. Just what a cosy cafe should be. I only wish they had loose tea instead of teabags.
